Having just finished watching Merlin: Secrets and Magic it must, once again be said that

In other news university is setting out to be so hard this year that I've had to drop half my watched communities just because I know I won't have time to keep up with them all.
I'm looking forward to actually putting effort in this year though, learning new stuff is always fun.

You know, I always thought the point of uni was to study the subjects you're interested in
and to be able to specialise in those areas you loved, right?

If that's still true then why is it that after putting in the compulsory modules of my subjects, I can't do any of the ones I actually want to do, due to time clashes!

I wanted to do classes on 1)the anthropological cultures of writing and the social groups formed on it from ancient times up to the present day internet. & 2)the anthropological perspectives of emotions.
Instead I'm left with a choice between an evening class on Greece I'll have to lose 3 days of work for, a class on Music in Brazil, or a mixed literary and interview assignment, which is assessed through public presentation and is not on a topic I'm particularly interested in!!

And I may have to give up one of my Ancient History classes cos there's only one tutorial group and it clashes with a compulsory anthropology lecture.
ARGH!
Stupid uni.

So I found a problem with my lovely new house and garden...
WE HAVE SPIDERS THE SIZE OF SMALL CRABS!!
There's nothing quite like going out to hang up washing to dry and having a the biggest spider in Northern Ireland, the king of the spider people drop down next to you.
Ugh! David didn't believe me til he saw it and then he squealed like a little girl.
Needless to say we salted and burned the evil demon, then we named him Ned.

My god Jared Padalecki was tiny and had a really squeakyish voice and reminds me even more of a puppy than he does now. Not to mention WOW has he grown up since then! I feel slightly odd that I ogle him now and want to pat his head then.

So Bob Dylan was awesome!
We got standing spots right in front of the technical booth, so we were far enough back that we weren't squished, we could see the whole stage cos we were an inch higher than the people in front of us and we had perfect sound! And then add to that a brilliant performance and it was just all round wonderful!
So Dublin was made of win!

...I should really be working on the 3000 word essay that I have due on wednesday, which I have not yet started much kinda really, I am screwed.

and all I could think anytime the Comedian was onscreen was 'John Winchester's gone nutso, well even more so, and yet is still strangely attractive.'

So I may have become slightly, only slightly obsessed with Supernatural and the prettiness that is Jensen Ackles... I have an addiction, like i really needed another one.
